Role Description: This is a part-time, on-site Front Desk Receptionist role based in our East London office in E7. The Front Desk Receptionist will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, greeting them professionally, managing sign-ins, and directing them to the appropriate team members. Daily responsibilities include:

  • Answering and routing phone calls
  • Managing the reception email inbox
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments
  • Handling basic inquiries
  • Performing general clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, scanning documents, updating records, and maintaining a tidy reception area

The successful candidate will support a smooth office workflow and uphold a professional, welcoming environment at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, visitors, and colleagues
  • Proficiency in receptionist duties, including greeting visitors, managing appointments, and handling front desk inquiries
  • Excellent phone etiquette and experience managing multi-line phone systems
  • Solid clerical skills, such as filing, data entry, document handling, and basic office administration
  • Comfort using office software (e.g., email, calendars, word processing) and basic familiarity with office equipment (printers, scanners)
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy environment
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a professional, respectful approach to colleagues and clients
