The Role

  • This is a hands‑on, varied position where you will play a key role in ensuring production runs smoothly through both reactive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Responding to breakdowns across a range of manufacturing machinery.
  • Fault finding and carrying out both electrical and mechanical maintenance.
  • Supporting and delivering improvement projects to enhance production efficiency.
  • Contributing to machinery upgrades and layout improvements.
  • Driving continuous improvement across the site.

Shift Pattern

  • Mornings: Monday–Thursday: 06:00 – 14:00 ; Friday: 06:00 – 11:30
  • Afternoons: Monday–Thursday: 14:00 – 22:00 ; Friday: 11:30 – 17:00
  • Nights: Monday–Thursday: 22:00 – 06:00 ; Friday: 17:00 – 22:30

37.5 hours per week, with overtime available.

About You

  • We’re looking for an experienced, electrically biased engineer who thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and enjoys both problem‑solving and improvement work.
  • A recognised electrical engineering qualification (17th or 18th Edition).
  • Strong electrical knowledge, including PLC exposure.
  • Experience with reactive maintenance and fault finding.
  • A proactive approach to continuous improvement.
  • The ability to contribute to projects and development work.
