Juice Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established and growing organisation within the manufacturing sector, as they look to appoint a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join their senior finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute and strategic finance professional to play a key role in shaping business performance, supporting decision-making, and driving continuous improvement across the organisation.
As Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, you will play an integral role in the future success of the business, working closely with Directors and senior stakeholders across all departments. You will lead the financial planning, forecasting and reporting processes, providing high-quality insight and analysis to support fact-based decision-making. You will also have responsibility for managing and developing a small team and acting as a key finance partner to the wider business.
DAY TO DAY:
- Leading the annual budgeting process and supporting multi-year strategic planning
- Preparing and analysing forecasts, monitoring performance against budget and prior year
- Producing clear and insightful monthly management reports, KPIs and board commentary
- Identifying variances, trends and risks, and working with managers to agree corrective actions
- Developing and maintaining financial models to support investment and growth decisions
- Overseeing month-end reporting processes and continuously improving reporting timelines
- Collaborating with sales, operations and supply chain teams to understand costs and benefits
- Managing, mentoring and developing a team
- Supporting statutory reporting and tax obligations in conjunction with the Group Accountant
- Acting as the first point of contact for the SAP Business One provider
- Working closely with Directors on IT development, system changes and day-to-day interfaces
WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
- 5+ years’ post-qualified experience in FP&A or a similar commercial finance role
- Strong strategic and analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
- Proven experience managing and developing a finance team
- Ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the business
- Highly IT and systems literate, with strong Excel skills
- Background in manufacturing would be advantageous
