Juice Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a prestigious hospitality client in the search for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead a talented kitchen team within a luxury hospitality environment. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for a chef who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and leads by example. You will play a key role in maintaining exceptional food standards, driving team performance, and delivering outstanding dining experiences.

As Head Chef, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and high-quality food delivery at all times. Working closely with your team, you’ll be actively involved in service while also managing kitchen operations, stock control, training, and compliance.

DAY TO DAY:

  • Leading kitchen service from the front, ensuring dishes are prepared and presented to exceptional standards
  • Supporting seasonal menu development using fresh, high-quality ingredients
  • Training, mentoring, and motivating chefs and kitchen staff
  • Managing stock levels, food costs, and minimising waste
  • Maintaining all food hygiene, HACCP, COSHH, and health & safety standards
  • Delivering excellent guest experiences and responding professionally to feedback

WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Previous experience in a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef position
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • A genuine passion for fresh, seasonal food
  • Excellent organisational and communication abilities
  • A hands-on and proactive approach
  • Sound knowledge of food safety and kitchen compliance procedures
