This is a newly created role within a values-led business known for its exceptional workplace culture and commitment to employee wellbeing. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced payroll professional who enjoys a varied role combining payroll accuracy with people-focused HR administration, within a supportive and fast-paced environment.
DAY TO DAY:
As Payroll & HR Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth payroll operations while supporting the wider people function. You will be the go-to person for payroll and HR queries, ensuring accuracy, compliance and a high standard of service across the organisation.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Proven experience in a payroll-focused role (including working with external payroll providers)
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements
- Dealing with volume payroll - including hourly paid and shift based payroll
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Confidence handling confidential information professionally
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, reporting, data handling)
- A solutions-focused, collaborative approach
Desirable:
- Payroll qualifications (e.g. CIPP)
