This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly and professional team, providing essential administrative support throughout the conveyancing process. Previous legal experience would be highly advantageous, although candidates with a legal degree and a keen interest in the conveyancing sector would also be considered
DAY TO DAY:
- Supporting fee earners with a varied residential conveyancing caseload
- Opening new files and completing client onboarding procedures
- Carrying out identification, compliance and anti-money laundering checks
- Preparing and issuing correspondence and legal documentation
- Liaising professionally with clients, solicitors, estate agents and other third parties
- Requesting searches and assisting with Land Registry applications
- Providing regular updates to clients throughout their transactions
- Managing diaries, arranging appointments and monitoring key deadlines
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic and paper files
- Supporting the wider conveyancing department with general administration
WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- A legal degree is essential
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A professional and confident telephone manner
- A keen interest in the conveyancing sector is essential
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
- A proactive, reliable and client-focused approach
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and case management systems
