Juice Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established business in Gloucester in their search for a Credit Controller to join their finance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised, proactive and confident individual to take ownership of the sales ledger, manage customer accounts and play an important role in maintaining the company's cash flow.
DAY TO DAY:

Managing a portfolio of customer accounts and proactively chasing outstanding payments by telephone and email.

Monitoring aged debt, agreeing payment dates and following up on outstanding commitments.

Investigating and resolving invoice queries, working closely with internal teams and customers.

Issuing statements, copy invoices and supporting documentation as required.

Allocating and reconciling customer payments to maintain an accurate sales ledger.

Maintaining accurate customer records and credit-control documentation.

Escalating overdue or disputed accounts where necessary.

Preparing regular aged-debt reports and providing updates to management.

Supporting credit checks, new account set-ups and credit limit reviews.

Identifying opportunities to improve credit-control processes and procedures.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Previous experience in a credit-control or accounts-receivable position.

Excellent communication skills and a confident, professional telephone manner.

The ability to manage customer relationships while taking a firm and proactive approach to debt collection.

Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting or finance systems.

Experience using Sage would be advantageous.

The ability to prioritise a busy workload, meet deadlines and work collaboratively within a team.
