Juice Cheltenham is delighted to be supporting a fantastic organisation in their search for a Temporary Assistant Buyer. This role will be responsible for preparing and implementing the purchase process stages in conjunction with and supporting the buyers.
Day to Day
- Undertake all purchasing responsibilities to support the P2P (Purchase to Pay) process. This includes processing purchase requisitions, obtaining quotes from suppliers, vendor onboarding for individual sites and supporting invoice queries (when purchasing responsibility).
- Works collaboratively within the Purchasing Team to understand and support business strategy.
- Administration support including but not restricted to: invoice queries, purchase order processing and expediting.
- Support end users on day-to-day SAP queries.
- Manage the implementation process for onboarding new suppliers.
- Obtaining quotations from suppliers; doing ‘smaller’ RFQs; looking for savings opportunities, following the basic contracting process.
- Identify and propose improvements to tools and processes within purchasing and wider businesses.
- Produce and monitor dashboards.
- Keeping purchase data up-to-date in ERP.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations and especially internal standards at Safran.
