Juice Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established and growing logistics and distribution business in their search for an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Day Driver to join their transport team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and professional HGV Driver who enjoys working independently and takes pride in delivering an exceptional service. Working day shifts, you will be responsible for transporting goods across planned routes, completing multi-drop deliveries, and ensuring products reach customers safely and on time.

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Safely operate a Class 1 (C+E) HGV vehicle on scheduled day routes
  • Complete multi-drop deliveries to customers across the region, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects or maintenance requirements
  • Ensure all deliveries are completed within agreed schedules whilst maintaining excellent service standards
  • Complete all relevant delivery documentation and driver records accurately
  • Assist with loading and unloading vehicles where required
  • Maintain compliance with all transport legislation, Driver Hours regulations and health & safety procedures
  • Communicate effectively with the transport team regarding route updates, delays or operational issues
  • Represent the business professionally when interacting with customers and suppliers

WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE:

  • A valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence
  • Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Previous Class 1 driving experience, ideally within logistics, FMCG, food distribution or a similar fast-paced environment
  • Experience completing multi-drop deliveries
  • Strong knowledge of UK road networks and transport legislation
  • A reliable, professional and flexible approach to work
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • The ability to work independently whilst contributing positively to a wider transport team
  • A strong commitment to safety, compliance and delivering excellent customer service
