With over 20 years of industry expertise and the strategic insight of a London-style consultancy, our client is a well-established and growing PR agency based in Cheltenham. Due to continued success and an expanding client portfolio, they are now seeking a driven and proactive Senior PR Account Executive to join their collaborative and talented team. This role is ideal for someone with 6–12 months’ experience in PR and social media, either from an agency or in-house environment, who is eager to develop their skills, take on responsibility, and build a long-term career in public relations.
The day to day: As a PR Account Executive, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality PR and social media campaigns across a diverse range of clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the planning and execution of intelligent, creative, and results-driven PR campaigns
- Writing engaging press releases, reports, articles, whitepapers, and social media content
- Building and maintaining media lists and monitoring press coverage
- Producing coverage reports and analysing campaign performance
- Supporting account management, including scheduling, event coordination, and client liaison
- Researching industry trends, competitor activity, and news to identify opportunities for clients
- Assisting with the creation and management of client social media content
- Identifying relevant industry awards and contributing to award submissions
This is a hands-on role that will give you exposure to the full PR mix, helping you grow into a confident and capable communications professional.
What You’ll Bring
- 6–12 months’ experience in PR and social media, preferably within an agency
- Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences
- A degree in PR, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence when working with clients, journalists, and stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
