DAY TO DAY:

Working closely with an experienced HR team, you will provide practical HR support and advice to a diverse portfolio of clients. This is a varied position where your responsibilities will develop as your knowledge and confidence grow.

• Preparing and maintaining accurate HR documentation, including contracts, offer letters, policies and employee correspondence.
• Supporting clients with employee engagement surveys, exit interviews and employee feedback.
• Coordinating DBS checks, credit checks, references and other pre-employment screening.
• Providing day-to-day HR support and guidance across a range of employee relations matters.
• Supporting managers and business owners with practical HR advice and guidance.
• Assisting with the implementation and ongoing management of HR systems.
• Acting as a point of contact for HR systems-related queries.
• Supporting the development and management of HR resources, templates and guidance for clients.
• Assisting with a variety of HR projects as your experience develops.
• Building positive relationships with clients and providing a high level of customer service.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Previous HR experience would be desirable not essential
• A keen interested in HR and progressing your career
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
• Confidence using technology and an interest in HR systems.
• A proactive and curious approach, with a willingness to learn and ask questions.
• A commercial and practical approach to HR.
• The ability to build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues.
