The Role
As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you'll play a key role in the company's distribution operation, delivering products to retail customers across the region.
Working within a temperature-controlled, multi-drop environment, you'll ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately and on time while providing outstanding customer service and representing the business professionally on every route.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operating a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle in line with UK driving legislation, Driver CPC and tachograph regulations.
- Completing multi-drop deliveries while ensuring product quality and stock rotation.
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects promptly.
- Loading and unloading products safely, including manual handling where required.
- Following all Health & Safety, food hygiene and security procedures.
About You
- A full UK Driving Licence with Category C entitlement.
- A valid Driver CPC qualification.
- A Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to carry out manual handling duties.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Newly qualified Class 2 drivers are encouraged to apply, with full training and ongoing support provided.
Working Hours
- Average of 48 hours per week.
- Five shifts per week on a rotating roster.
- Night shifts with typical start times between 11:00pm and 2:00am.
