Day To Day
Reporting into the facilities team, you’ll be responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial buildings, including storage facilities, office spaces and retail locations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out general building repairs including roofing and cladding
- Plumbing and fault finding
- Joinery, tiling, painting and decorating
- Carpeting, paving and drainage works
- Grounds maintenance, site clearance and pressure washing
- Furniture assembly and removal
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to agreed service levels
You’ll be required to travel between sites and manage your workload independently while maintaining excellent communication with stakeholders.
What We Would Love to See
This role would suit a hands‑on maintenance professional with a strong all‑round skillset and a proactive approach. You’ll ideally have:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a property maintenance or building trade role
- NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating
- Experience with roofing and cladding (desirable)
- A full UK driving licence
- Strong knowledge of health & safety and on‑site risk assessments
- Confidence using IT systems to log work and record costs
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team
CSCS certification is desirable but not essential.
