Are you immediately available? Do you have an up to date Enhanced DBS? We’re excited to be recruiting a Receptionist on behalf of our client in Bath. This role is vital in creating a welcoming environment for visitors and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at the school reception. You will be the first point of contact for visitors, parents, staff, and pupils, handling enquiries efficiently and professionally.
The position is temporary, lasting approximately 3-4 weeks, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in administrative work who enjoys working in a school setting and providing excellent customer service.
DAY TO DAY- Welcoming in visitors ensuring they are following policies
- Administrative duties, using bespoke system
- Answering the phone and taking messages where needed
- Confidently work with a variety of people, speaking to both children and adults
- Maintain notice boards and update rotas when needed
- Previous experience in administrative or reception roles, ideally within a school or education environment
- Enhanced DBS or willingness to undertake one (highly desirable)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Organised and able to manage busy, varied tasks efficiently
- Professional and approachable demeanour, able to handle visitors and enquiries tactfully
- Comfortable using standard office software and equipment

- The hours are 8:00 - 16:00 each day 5 days a week
