Juice Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established business in the recruitment of a Payroll Assistant to join their friendly team based in Bath.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous payroll experience looking to join a supportive environment, managing payrolls for a varied portfolio of clients and ensuring all processes are completed accurately and on time.
The Role
Working closely with the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for processing weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls, responding to client queries and supporting a range of payroll-related activities.
Day to Day
- Processing payrolls for a portfolio of clients and issuing payslips.
- Checking payroll calculations and submitting RTI returns.
- Responding to client queries and building strong relationships.
- Maintaining accurate employee records.
- Processing pensions, holiday pay, overtime and statutory payments.
- Liaising with HMRC and assisting with CIS returns when required.
- Supporting the Payroll Manager and wider team as needed.

- Has previous payroll processing experience.
- Has good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Has strong numerical, organisational and communication skills.
- Can work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Has a positive, flexible and proactive approach.
