Are you immediately available and looking for a hands-on and proactive role? Are you an experienced Finance Manager looking to join a forward-thinking and progressive employer? We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of daily financial operations and support the senior leadership team with a wide variety of day-to-day duties. This role would suit someone who enjoys balancing transactional finance responsibilities with more commercially focused duties.

DAY TO DAY:

  • Managing finance activities, bank postings, payments, reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Overseeing supplier relationships, overseeing invoice approvals, overseeing credit control
  • Maintaining Sage accuracy and supporting continual improvement of finance systems and reporting
  • Producing and maintaining weekly and monthly cashflow reporting
  • Preparing management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and preparing reports for senior leadership teams
  • Supporting payroll preparation, anomalies and liaising with external bureau
  • Preparing VAT returns supporting year end, annual returns, audit compliance
  • Processing expenses, supplier and customer pricing updates
  • Supporting compliance, providing financial insight to management team
  • Overseeing priorities of established part time finance assistant

This role could develop into a Fractional CFO role long term.
