Accounting Supervisor / Management Accountant in Bath, Somerset

Do you have experience preparing monthly management accounts and providing financial analysis, including explaining key variances and movements?Are you commercially minded, confident working with detailed financial data and experienced working across multiple entities or within a fast-paced, growing business?Juice Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a growing and innovative Bath-based business with the appointment of a Management Accountant.We're looking for a commercially minded and analytical Management Accountant who enjoys getting into the detail and working collaboratively across a business.This is a broad, hands-on role where you'll have the opportunity to make a visible impact across management accounting, financial analysis, reporting and wider commercial projects.DAY TO DAYPrepare monthly management accounts and provide insightful financial analysis across a growing portfolio of products and services.Analyse financial performance, key movements, and risks and opportunities for the business and new acquisitions. Support board, investor and senior management reporting,Work with financial and operational data across multiple entities and product lines.Help build and maintain robust financial data and reporting to support commercial decision-making and future growth.Support the integration of entities, ensuring finance systems, payroll and processes are aligned.Work closely with the Financial Controller to improve the quality, accuracy and timeliness of month-end and financial reporting.Identify opportunities to improve controls, processes, data quality and efficiency.Contribute to wider business and commercial projects, with the opportunity to work collaboratively across different teams.Support and share knowledge with colleagues across the finance team.WHAT WE'D LOVE TO SEEPrevious experience preparing management accounts and delivering high-quality financial analysis.A relevant accounting qualification or equivalent experience.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work confidently with detailed financial and operational data.Experience analysing financial performance and explaining variances, trends and key movements.Strong Excel and financial systems experience, with a willingness to work with data and improve processes.A confident communicator who can build effective relationships with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.AND FOR YOU25 days' annual leave plus bank holiday.Comprehensive benefits package.
