Juice Recruitment is delighted to be supporting an organisation in the education sector with the appointment of a Site Manager on a temporary basis. Are you a hands-on facilities or site professional looking for your next interim opportunity? Do you thrive in an environment where no two days are the same and where maintaining high standards really matters? We’re recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to take on a temporary assignment, supporting the effective day-to-day operation of a busy, multi-use site. This is a practical, visible role, suited to someone with strong maintenance knowledge, a proactive approach and confidence working independently while supporting others.
Day to Day:
- Carrying out hands-on maintenance and repairs across buildings and external areas (carpentry, basic plumbing, decorating and general building works).
- Supporting and delivering planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring facilities remain safe, compliant and well-presented.
- Undertaking health & safety and statutory compliance checks, maintaining accurate records.
- Acting as a keyholder, supporting site security and responding to call-outs or emergencies when required.
- Working closely with cleaning and facilities colleagues, helping coordinate tasks and maintain high standards.
- Liaising with and supervising external contractors on site.
- Supporting the setup of rooms and spaces for events and day-to-day operations.
We Would Love to See:
- Proven experience in a site management, facilities, caretaking or building maintenance role.
- A strong practical skillset with the ability to fault-find and carry out repairs independently.
- Good working knowledge of health & safety and safe systems of work.
- A reliable, organised and flexible approach, with the ability to respond calmly to changing priorities.
- Comfortable working as part of a team, while also taking responsibility for your own workload.
- Experience working in an education or similar environment would be beneficial, but isn’t essential.
