Job Description
Juice Recruitment is thrilled to be supporting a leading business in their field based in Stonehouse, as they look to welcome a proactive and detail-driven Management Accountant to their growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative environment, where your contribution will make a real impact.
DAY TO DAY:
- Prepare monthly management accounts with concise commentary and exception reporting
- Present data using graphs and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Analyse and report against prior year figures and budget
- Deliver timely and relevant information including sales, orders, gross margins, purchases, stock, and debtors
- Support the development and reporting of business-critical KPIs
- Calculate and post accruals and prepayments accurately
- Perform monthly reconciliations (e.g., bank, creditors, debtors, stock, fixed assets, intercompany)
- Conduct full general ledger analysis
- Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register
- Prepare and release reports using SQL in Excel
- Run reports via PPT and EPR systems
- Submit monthly VAT returns
- Assist with ad hoc finance tasks as needed
- Provide holiday and absence cover for the finance function
