Job Description

Juice Recruitment is thrilled to be supporting a leading business in their field based in Stonehouse, as they look to welcome a proactive and detail-driven Management Accountant to their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative environment, where your contribution will make a real impact.

DAY TO DAY:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts with concise commentary and exception reporting
  • Present data using graphs and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Analyse and report against prior year figures and budget
  • Deliver timely and relevant information including sales, orders, gross margins, purchases, stock, and debtors
  • Support the development and reporting of business-critical KPIs
  • Calculate and post accruals and prepayments accurately
  • Perform monthly reconciliations (e.g., bank, creditors, debtors, stock, fixed assets, intercompany)
  • Conduct full general ledger analysis
  • Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register
  • Prepare and release reports using SQL in Excel
  • Run reports via PPT and EPR systems
  • Submit monthly VAT returns
  • Assist with ad hoc finance tasks as needed
  • Provide holiday and absence cover for the finance function
