South Wales | Immediate Start | Ongoing Temporary Assignment Until End of August

Juice Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a growing and well-established drinks distribution business in its search for a reliable and hardworking Delivery Driver to join its team on an ongoing temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver who enjoys a physically active role, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Working as part of a busy distribution operation, you will be responsible for delivering drinks products to licensed trade customers across the region, ensuring all deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.

The Role

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe transportation and delivery of drinks products, including kegs, barrels, cases, and bottled stock to customer sites. This is a hands-on role involving regular manual handling and customer interaction, making it ideal for someone who enjoys being active and working independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver drinks products to customers across South Wales and surrounding areas.
  • Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.
  • Handle products including kegs, barrels, bottles, and cases.
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
  • Ensure delivery paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Provide a professional and friendly service to customers.
  • Adhere to all road safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of vehicle cleanliness and presentation.

About You

We are looking for a dependable and customer-focused individual who can represent the business professionally while ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on schedule.

Essential Skills Experience

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Previous experience in a delivery driving, multi-drop, or van driving role
  • Good knowledge of local road networks and route planning
  • Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Desirable

  • Experience delivering within the drinks, wholesale, distribution, or FMCG sectors
  • Experience handling kegs, barrels, or heavy products
  • Previous multi-drop delivery experience

Working Hours

40-hour working week Tuesday to Saturday. Early starts may be required depending on delivery schedules.
