Juice Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading Gloucestershire-based education provider in the search for a Lecturer in Plumbing. Whether you're already teaching or currently working within the plumbing and heating industry, this is a fantastic opportunity to take the next step in your career and inspire the tradespeople of tomorrow.
Joining a supportive and experienced Construction team, you'll deliver engaging practical and classroom-based learning to apprentices and full-time students studying Plumbing and Heating qualifications from Levels 1-3. You'll be supported by experienced colleagues and provided with the training needed to transition into education if you're currently working in industry.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering high-quality plumbing and heating lessons in both workshop and classroom environments.
- Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to support achievement.
- Motivating and inspiring learners to reach their full potential.
- Supporting student retention, attendance and progression targets.
- Working collaboratively with teaching colleagues to develop engaging learning experiences.
- Building relationships with employers and supporting recruitment events, open days and industry engagement activities.
- Maintaining a safe and compliant learning environment.
About You
We're keen to hear from experienced Plumbing and Heating professionals who are passionate about sharing their expertise.
You'll ideally have:
- NVQ Level 3 Plumbing & Heating qualification.
- Strong industry experience within plumbing and heating.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to motivate, engage and support learners from a variety of backgrounds.
- Teaching qualifications are welcomed but not essential, and support will be available for candidates looking to gain these whilst in post.
