Juice Recruitment is delighted to be supporting an organisation in its search for an experienced HR Business Partner. This is a varied generalist position offering the opportunity to support employees and managers across the full employee lifecycle while contributing to wider people initiatives and business objectives.
DAY TO DAY:
- Providing advice and guidance to employees and managers on employee relations matters, including absence, performance, grievance and wellbeing.
- Supporting recruitment and selection activity, including advertising, screening, interviewing and preparing offers.
- Managing the onboarding and offboarding process to ensure a positive and consistent employee experience.
- Developing and implementing HR initiatives that support engagement, learning, development and wider business goals.
- Supporting performance management, career development and succession activity across the organisation.
- Contributing to the development and review of HR policies, procedures and people practices.
- Supporting contractual and employee relations discussions while ensuring compliance with current UK employment legislation.
- Maintaining accurate employee records across HR and document management systems and ensuring GDPR requirements are met.
- Preparing, checking and reporting payroll and time and attendance information in line with monthly deadlines.
- Keeping knowledge of relevant payroll requirements, employment legislation and HR best practice up to date.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Previous experience in a broad HR generalist, HR Business Partner or HR advisory role.
- A strong and current understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- The ability to balance responsive operational support with longer-term HR projects and initiatives.
- A proactive, hands-on and solutions-focused approach, with sound judgement and discretion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to build effective relationships at all levels.
- Strong organisation, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Experience using HR, payroll or time and attendance systems would be advantageous.
Salary – up to £55,000 per annum depending on experience.
