The Role
As Whisky Sommelier, you will curate and deliver an outstanding whisky experience for guests, enhancing their stay through education, storytelling, and tailored recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curating and managing an extensive whisky collection
- Conducting private tastings and guided whisky flights
- Pairing whisky with tasting menus and special events
- Advising guests on regional styles, maturation processes, and distillery heritage
- Maintaining supplier relationships and managing stock control
- Training front of house staff to enhance whisky knowledge
- Supporting premium retail sales where applicable
This is a highly guest-facing role requiring confidence, presence, and exceptional communication skills.
Candidate Profile
