Chef de Partie
Salary: £32,000 per annum

Full-Time | Permanent
We are seeking a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at one of Oxford's leading academic institutions.
Working within a well-established brigade, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality food for a diverse range of services, including student dining, formal events, conferences, and hospitality functions. This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who is passionate about fresh food, professional development, and maintaining exceptional culinary standards.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and present dishes to a consistently high standard.

Take responsibility for a designated section within the kitchen.

Assist with menu development and seasonal food offerings.

Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.

Support and mentor junior members of the kitchen team.

Contribute to the smooth and efficient running of daily kitchen operations.
About You
-
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or an ambitious Demi Chef de Partie ready for progression.

Strong knowledge of fresh food preparation and modern cooking techniques.

Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

A positive attitude and ability to work effectively under pressure.

Food Safety Level 2 qualification (or willingness to obtain).

Experience within hospitality, events, contract catering, hotels, or educational settings is advantageous.
