About the Role
As Assistant Hotel Manager, you will support the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, smooth daily running of the property, and a motivated team environment. This is a hands‑on leadership position in a busy, all‑year‑round resort hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing day‑to‑day hotel operations including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and bar
- Deliver and maintain high standards of guest service and satisfaction
- Support staff supervision, training, rostering, and performance management
- Handle guest queries, feedback, and any issues with a positive, solution‑focused approach
- Monitor health & safety, licensing, and compliance requirements
- Contribute to revenue generation through upselling, events, and seasonal promotions
- Deputise for the General Manager in their absence
What We’re Looking For
- Previous supervisory or management experience in a hotel, hospitality, or licensed premises environment (essential)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a diverse team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

- Flexibility to work shifts including weekends, evenings
