We are seeking an experienced and driven Head Chef to lead our client's kitchen operation in Inverness. This is an exciting opportunity to take full ownership of the culinary offering within a busy hotel environment, delivering exceptional food experiences for guests across restaurant service, events, and functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and motivate the kitchen brigade to deliver consistently high standards
- Develop and implement seasonal menus using fresh, locally sourced ingredients
- Maintain strong control of food costs, GP margins, and stock management
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
- Oversee recruitment, training, and development of kitchen team members
- Work collaboratively with the General Manager to drive food revenue and guest satisfaction
- Manage kitchen operations for weddings, corporate events, and special occasions
About You
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or strong Senior Sous Chef ready to step up
- Background in hotel, restaurant, or high-volume hospitality settings
