We are recruiting an experienced Assistant Head Housekeeper to join the housekeeping team at one of Scotland's most iconic luxury hotels, set amidst breathtaking Highland scenery. This is an excellent opportunity for a housekeeping professional looking to take the next step in their career within a renowned luxury hospitality environment.

The Role

  • Working closely with the Head Housekeeper, you will help lead and inspire the housekeeping team, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and guest satisfaction are maintained throughout the hotel, cottages and public areas.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the day-to-day management of the housekeeping department
  • Supervise and support housekeeping team members
  • Conduct room and public area inspections to ensure exceptional standards
  • Assist with staff training, development and rota planning
  • Monitor stock levels and housekeeping supplies
  • Help ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Support the Head Housekeeper in maintaining service excellence throughout the property

About You

  • Previous supervisory experience within housekeeping
  • Luxury hotel experience would be highly advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Positive leadership style with the ability to motivate a team
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills
  • A hands-on approach and willingness to lead by example
