About the Role: We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Bar Manager to join one of Oxford's distinguished college bars. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a prestigious academic setting while developing your hospitality management career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Bar Manager in daily operations and service delivery
- Assist in staff supervision, training, and scheduling
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards
- Manage stock control and inventory
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Handle cash management and daily reconciliation
- Assist with special events and college functions
- Implement health and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Previous bar management or supervisory experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Personal licence holder (preferred)
