As an Induction Officer, you will be supporting learners throughout their apprenticeship journey, from online induction and learning plans to ongoing guidance and communication. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the required number of learners (min 3 per day) through their online induction/planning of learning visit.
- Completion of learners’ Personal Learning Plan (PLP) including Skill Scan and dashboard updates.
- Communication of GLH, Qualification overview (KSB’s), delivery model with the learner.
- Review of initial assessment results with the learner including IAG re: ALN.
- Overview of Functional Skills delivery and duration (inc exemptions).
- Undertake initial learning visit, and arrange additional learning for completion prior to Skills Coach 1st visit.
- Actively promote, support, encourage the learner to continually update GLH learning log booklet.
- Liaison with Skills Coach to arrange and book in 1st visit in line with the qualification delivery model.
- Provide effective IAG service to learners.
- Manage own time effectively to progress learners including completion of paperwork and updating of systems to minimum standards.
- Promote Eden Training Solutions at every opportunity with learners, as well as all other internal and external parties.
- Maintain weekly reports to update completion of appointments, booked and potential.
- Attend internal and external meetings as required.
- Carry out any additional duties as reasonably requested by line management.
Qualifications/Skills
- Mandatory level qualifications: A*-C GCSE (or equivalent) in English and maths; Children’s Care Learning & Development (Level 3), Childcare & Education (Level 3), Early Years Care & Education (Level 3) or equivalent/higher qualification.
- Desirable level qualifications: Foundation/honours degree in Early Childhood Studies; TAQA or equivalent qualification (e.g.: D32/33, A1, CAVA); Teacher, training qualifications or equivalent (e.g.: PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, Cert-Ed).

- Experience of Ofsted Inspection.
