This role is focused on identifying, engaging and securing new opportunities through education staffing frameworks and procurement routes. You will build relationships with senior decision-makers, support framework and tender opportunities, and work closely with our operational teams to ensure new agreements translate into active school partnerships and sustainable sales growth.

You will be joining a high-priority growth area for the business, so we are looking for someone who is proactive, resilient and confident in opening doors, building trust and closing deals. This role offers the opportunity to develop strong experience in strategic sales, framework growth and education partnerships.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Identify and target new business opportunities with Multi Academy Trusts, Trusts and education groups across England.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including Trust leaders, procurement contacts, HR professionals and school leadership teams.
  • Support tender responses, framework applications, presentations and commercial discussions.
  • Help grow framework opportunities across Protocol Education and Teaching Personnel.
  • Work closely with regional and operational teams to turn new agreements into active school customers.
  • Support consultants and managers with framework activation and school engagement.
  • Drive increased teacher and teaching assistant supply volumes through newly secured partnerships.
  • Use commercial insight, pricing awareness and value-led selling to support profitable growth.
  • Track pipeline activity, framework utilisation and opportunities to increase market share.
  • Share market intelligence around education procurement trends, competitor activity and new opportunities.

About You

You will be a confident business developer who enjoys winning new customers, building relationships and turning opportunities into results. We are looking for someone who can bring energy, structure and commercial focus to a fast-moving growth role. You may already have experience in education recruitment, public-sector staffing, procurement frameworks, MSP/RPO environments or another B2B sales environment where relationship building and closing new business are key.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales or account growth.
  • Confidence in prospecting, opening conversations and developing new opportunities.
  • A track record of winning business or contributing to commercial growth.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • The ability to build credibility with senior stakeholders.
  • A proactive, target-driven and resilient approach.
  • Strong pipeline management and follow-up discipline.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to turn opportunities into results.
  • Ideally, knowledge of education recruitment, MATs, Trusts, public-sector procurement or framework sales.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role will be measured by your ability to build a strong pipeline, secure new Trust and framework opportunities, generate incremental revenue and support increased teacher and teaching assistant supply into schools. You will also play an important role in helping operational teams activate new agreements quickly and effectively. This is a role for someone who is excited by growth, motivated by targets and confident in taking ownership of new business opportunities from first conversation through to close.

What we Offer

You will be joining a business with scale, ambition and a clear focus on growth across the education sector. This role gives you the chance to work across two well-established education recruitment brands, build relationships with key education decision-makers and make a visible commercial impact. You will be part of a collaborative environment where sales, operations, marketing, bids and leadership teams work together to create meaningful partnerships with schools and Trusts.
