Due to continued expansion, we are seeking to recruit a home-based Health and Safety Consultant located in London or surrounding areas. The role will involve travelling to a portfolio of clients offering Health, Safety advice and Fire risk assessment completion for school clients.
Key Accountabilities- Experience in working in the education industry would be an advantage but not essential.
- Experienced in completing and consulting on detailed audits/inspections, providing advice/guidance on health & safety compliance and completing fire risk assessments.
- Experience or willingness to present and own client training virtually and in-person.
- Experience in a similar environment working with a variety of stakeholders.
- Be a Certified Member of IOSH (CertIOSH) or working towards the CMIOSH qualification.
- Hold a fire Risk assessment qualification or working towards this qualification.
- The ability to provide health & safety training.
- Clear and concise communicator, capable of producing written content to a professional quality.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including strategic influencing/negotiation skills with the ability to relate to and communicate effectively with people at all levels, manage differing expectations of all stakeholders.
- Experience working within schools or the education sector, desirable but not essential.
- Ability and willingness to undertake Continuing professional development training.
- A full UK driving license is essential and a willingness to travel to clients' sites.
