We are a leading law firm in Bromley known for providing exceptional legal services. Our dedicated team of solicitors is committed to delivering top-quality, personalised legal advice across a wide range of sectors. As we continue to grow and expand, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Housing Solicitor to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities include:
- Undertaking fee-earning work and developing with support from the Housing Partner.
- Running your own busy housing management caseload to include some leasehold matters and ensuring that deadlines are fully met.
- Managing the support services for which you are responsible, including supervision of junior staff.
- Being fully engaged in marketing and networking activities whether on a firm-wide, departmental or office basis.
- Maintaining financial control of own ledgers with particular regard to cash flow control through collection of monies on account and billing procedures.
- Assisting in the implementation of the firm’s case management system.
- Conducting training and/or contributing to any training events for clients.
- Undertaking advocacy if required.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in a housing management legal department in a solicitor’s firm or in-house.
- Confident communicator with good relationship building skills.
- Knowledge of Excel and Word.
- Must have a flexible attitude to work and time.
- Demonstrate business acumen and commercial awareness.
