Are you an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor with exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills? Are you a hands on/roll your sleeves up individual who loves being part of a busy and dynamic team? Then this could be the job for you!

Key Responsibilities

Our close knit, diverse and friendly Residential Conveyancing Team are looking for a highly skilled solicitor who has a special touch with people. You will be using your experience to work with the team to support the conveyancing team and manage your own caseload. You will use your high level of interpersonal skills and knowledge to provide clients with appropriate and up-to-date legal advice for Sale and Purchase of freehold and leasehold property and Landlord and Tenant transactions including negotiated leases.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Experience:
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in a similar field (or ability to demonstrate equivalent skills)
  • Experience of delivering excellent customer care in a legal environment
Qualifications
  • To be qualified and eligible to practice as a solicitor in England

We include family friendly policies when after two years’ service you will be eligible for our enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption leave.
Death in Service Insurance
All employees will be entitled to 2 x salary.
Legal Fees
After one years’ service, you will be entitled to a contribution towards legal fees.

We offer up to £2,000 (dependent on level of seniority) referral bonus to say thank you for introducing a job candidate that becomes employed by J&P and passes their probation.
Season Ticket Loan
After probation, you are entitled to apply for an interest free advance for a season ticket to use public transport to reach your place of work.
