Description
We are seeking a robust housing litigator to join our Housing Management team with over 30 years of experience delivering legal services to social housing providers and private landlords.
Responsibilities
- Manage a busy caseload of housing litigation matters, including defending disrepair claims, possession, civil injunctions, defending EPA claims, ASB and fraud.
- Deal with landlord and tenant matters, AST and/or leasehold matters including forfeiture claims.
- Deliver excellent client care and maintain client relationships.
- Participate in marketing and networking activities.
- Meet monthly time recording and billing targets.
- Supervise support services, including secretarial and junior staff.
- Use case management system.
Qualifications & Knowledge
- Strong experience in a housing management legal department in a solicitor’s firm or in-house.
- Experience delivering excellent client care preferably in private practice.
- Familiarity and experience of working on a case management system.
- Consistent track record of meeting monthly time recording and billing targets.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible attitude to work and time.
