Senior Care Assistant – Thurso

are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our Thurso team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is ready to take the next step in their care career and support the day-to-day running of our care team.
The role includes:
- Providing high-quality, person-centred care.
- Supporting and guiding members of the care team.
- Acting as a first point of contact for routine staff queries.
- Supporting new staff with induction and shadowing.
- Completing delegated care audits and staff observations.
- Supporting care plans, documentation and incident reporting.
- Monitoring standards of care and identifying areas for improvement.
- Providing clear handovers and supporting effective communication.
- Participating in on-call and administrative duties.
Rota
The Senior Care Assistant will work alongside our existing Senior Care Assistant on a rolling 2-week rota, with the two Seniors alternating their working pattern.
Shift times:
7:00am–2:00pm and 4:30pm–10:00pm
Plus: 1 office/admin day per week, 9:00am–2:00pm.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, professional, caring and confident, with a positive attitude and a genuine commitment to providing excellent care.
Previous senior care experience is desirable, although we are also interested in hearing from experienced care staff who are ready to develop into a senior role.
