We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established care environment for a Chef to support the delivery of high-quality, nutritious meals for residents, patients, and staff. This role would suit a chef who enjoys producing well-balanced food in a structured kitchen environment, while working closely with a wider care and hospitality team.

Responsibilities as Chef
- Prepare and cook meals in line with planned menus
- Deliver high standards of food quality, nutrition, and presentation
- Support stock control, deliveries, and food storage procedures
- Ensure stock rotation and minimise waste
- Train and support junior kitchen staff
- Maintain compliance with Food Hygiene, Health & Safety, and COSHH regulations
- Provide a professional and courteous service at all times
What We’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 2 in Catering or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience within catering or care environments advantageous
- Strong understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety procedures
- Calm, professional, and organised approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and empathy towards older people
