The Opportunity
Working closely with the Head Chef, you'll help lead the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, ensuring consistently high food standards while supporting and developing the wider team. This position would suit an experienced Sous Chef or a strong Junior Sous Chef ready to take the next step within a quality-driven fresh food operation.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Head Chef with the daily operation of the kitchen
Lead the team during service and in the Head Chef's absence
Maintain exceptional food quality and presentation standards
Assist with stock management, ordering, and cost control
Ensure full compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
Train and mentor junior chefs
Contribute to menu development and seasonal specials
About You
Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef
Passion for fresh food and quality ingredients
Strong leadership and organisational skills
