We are recruiting for a talented Junior Sous Chef to join a prestigious hospitality operation in the City of London. The operation consists of multiple private dining rooms and meeting spaces where the food offer is modern British and European cuisine at a Michelin level. Menus are seasonal with a strong focus on presentation, precision and consistency. Working under a Head Chef with Michelin-level experience, you’ll be part of a refined, detail-driven kitchen delivering exceptional food in an exclusive, client-facing environment.

Your role:

  • Support the Head Chef in delivering exceptional standards
  • Take a hands-on role in both prep and service
  • Run sections and assist in leading junior team members
  • Maintain consistency and quality across all services
  • Contribute to menu development and planning
  • Work closely with front-of-house teams

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours (2/3 evenings per week)

What we’re looking for:

  • A Junior Sous Chef or a Chef de Partie/Senior Chef de Partie looking for a step up
  • Proven background in fine dining or high-end hospitality catering
  • Experience in restaurants, events, or premium B&I
  • Eye for detail and presentation with high standards
  • Passion for food, ingredients and service
  • Good attitude and approach
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player
  • Ability to work in a pressured environment, remaining calm and focused
