We are seeking an experienced and passionate Education Chef to work within schools and early years settings across Central London. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing nutritious, balanced meals that meet the needs of children in educational environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and cook healthy meals in line with school and early years nutritional guidelines
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented to a high standard
- Cater for dietary requirements, including allergies and intolerances
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment
- Comply with all food safety, hygiene, and safeguarding standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a chef within education and/or early years settings
- Valid Food Hygiene Certificate (essential)
- Food Allergen Awareness Certificate (essential)
- Enhanced DBS Certificate (essential, must be on the Update Service or willing to obtain)
- Strong understanding of nutrition for children
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
- Experience with menu planning for schools or nurseries

- Level 2 or 3 Food Safety qualification
