DBS Head Chef - Mon to Fri

Experienced Head Chef needed for ongoing Monday to Friday daytime shifts across sites in and around Birmingham, paying £16-£20 per hour. About the role We're looking for a reliable, experienced Head Chef to lead kitchens across a range of sites in and around Birmingham. You'll run the kitchen at each location, keep standards consistent, and provide dependable cover for absences, handovers and busy periods. Shifts are ongoing, so you'll have steady work and a settled weekday pattern, with your evenings and weekends free. Key responsibilities Plan, prepare and cook high-quality meals to a consistent standard Lead and support kitchen teams at each site Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and allergen management Settle quickly into new kitchens and teams About you Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef Full UK driving licence and your own vehicle, as you'll be travelling between sites Enhanced DBS check required (or a current certificate on the update service) Full understanding of allergens and dietary requirements Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate (Level 3 preferred) Self-sufficient and adaptable to new environments What we offer Competitive hourly rate of £16-£20, based on experience Ongoing shifts with consistent work Monday to Friday Daytime hours only Weekly pay plus holiday pay Already have a DBS?
