We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to join our client at a stunning, award-winning luxury hotel set in the idyllic Scottish Highlands. This exceptional destination features a rosette-awarded restaurant and hosts weddings, private functions, and exclusive events.

The Role

As Head Chef, you will take full responsibility for the overall management and performance of the kitchen. From leading and developing your team to creating innovative menus and delivering exceptional tastings, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the outstanding culinary standards for which the hotel is renowned.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overall management of the kitchen and culinary operation
  • Leading, motivating, and developing the kitchen team
  • Encouraging creativity and contributing to menu development
  • Ensure exceptional standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
  • Manage all kitchen finances, including budgets, cost control, GP, and labour

About You

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef within a rosette-awarded restaurant and/or 5 * hotel environment
  • A genuine passion for food, seasonal produce, and delivering outstanding guest experiences
  • Strong attention to detail and presentation
  • Exceptional attention to detail and presentation
  • Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, proactive approach
  • Commercially astute, with experience managing budgets and controlling costs
