The role

• Welcoming guests, taking food and drink orders and serving them accurately
• Laying tables and setting up dining areas or event spaces
• Advising guests on menu items, including allergens and dietary requirements
• Handling cash and card payments
• Clearing tables, resetting and keeping service areas clean and tidy
• Working closely with kitchen and bar teams to deliver a great guest experience

About you

• Previous waiting, front-of-house or hospitality experience preferred, though keen beginners will be considered
• Friendly, polite and confident with guests
• Calm under pressure and a strong team player
• Reliable, punctual and smartly presented
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
• Aged 18 or over
• Own transport or good access to public transport for late finishes
• Right to work in the UK
• Understanding of food safety and allergen awareness desired (Level 2 Food Hygiene is a bonus)
