We're looking for a reliable, hardworking Kitchen Porter to join a busy kitchen team in Stoke-on-Trent. The hours are Monday to Friday, daytime only, so you get your evenings and weekends free. This role suits someone who likes being kept busy and wants steady weekday work.
What you'll be doing
Washing pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment, by hand and by dishwasher
Keeping the kitchen, floors and work surfaces clean and tidy throughout the shift
Following cleaning schedules and food hygiene standards
Taking in deliveries and putting stock away correctly
Emptying bins and managing waste and recycling
Helping the chefs with basic food prep when needed
What we're looking for
Previous kitchen porter or cleaning experience is helpful but not essential, as full training is given
A good work ethic and the ability to work at a quick pace
Reliable and punctual, with a positive attitude
A team player who can follow instructions
Basic food hygiene knowledge is a bonus
Ideally you'll have a full driving licence and your own transport to get to the site
What's on offer
£12.71 – £13.50 per hour, depending on experience
Monday to Friday daytime hours, with no evenings or weekends
