Practice Nurse

Main duties of the job:

• The Practice Nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients within a primary care setting.
• Key duties include running nurse-led clinics, supporting patients with long-term condition management (such as diabetes, asthma, and hypertension), and providing routine nursing services including immunisations, cervical screening, wound care, and health checks.
• You will work collaboratively with GPs and the wider clinical team to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centred care.
• The role also involves promoting health and wellbeing, supporting patients with lifestyle advice, and maintaining accurate clinical records in line with practice protocols.
• The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining high clinical standards, infection control, and continuous service improvement within the practice.

• Deliver nursing care across a range of services and patient needs.

Person Specification:

• Registered Nurse (RGN/RN) with current NMC registration.
