We are looking for an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join our client at this stunning luxury hotel. Set in the idyllic Scottish Highlands, this tranquil hotel features a rosette restaurant as well as catering for weddings, events and private functions.
What you will be doing:
- Working with and alongside the Head Chef to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen.
- Take full responsibility for the food and kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef including rotas, ordering and paperwork.
- Support with leading, motivating and inspiring the kitchen team as well as encouraging creativity.
What we were looking for:
- A strong Sous Chef with proven work history.
- Ideally previous experience within a rosette kitchen and/or min 4* hotel.
- Genuine passion for food, ingredients and customer service.
- Eye for detail and presentation.
- A proactive person, capable of motivating a team and working as part of.
