We're looking for a chef to run the kitchen at our laid-back restaurant on a holiday park in southwest France. It's casual food, done well. A lot of BBQ β cooked outside on barbecues and offset smokers β plus Sunday lunches, charcuterie, and some straightforward French dishes during the busy summer months. Nothing fine-dining, no fuss.
Weβre after someone practical, organised, and comfortable working on their own, especially with BBQ and smoker cooking. Offset smoker experience is a big plus, but attitude matters more than flash CVs.
So if you like good food, sunshine, and a straightforward, no-nonsense setup, this could be a great season for you.

- 20 February - 20 October
- β¬30,000 per year, pro rata
- Accommodation provided for the full contract
- Based in sunny wine country, southwest France
- European passport required (no visa available)
The restaurant sits on a holiday park, so you'll need to be happy mucking in and helping out with other bits when things are quieter. Summer gets busy, spring and autumn are more relaxed.
