We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Aviation Parts Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the processing of aviation parts requests, working with local OEMs, MROs and parts suppliers to fulfil parts demand from aircraft operators, MROs and owners. The role will cover the entire parts ordering life cycle from request to delivery (door-to-door). This position requires understanding of logistics, supply chain management, inventory management and various operational systems. The inventory analyst will ensure that all parts requests are efficiently addressed and aligns with our organisations goal of service excellence. A good understanding of MS Excel, Word and use of any CRM tool is key to succeed.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement comprehensive parts fulfilment process from warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, and logistics.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify gaps and develop tailored stocking solutions.
- Collaborate with parts suppliers, OEMs and vendors on parts purchases.
- Maintain accurate records of parts requests activities and supply chain.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of order fulfilment through feedback and performance metrics.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
- Assist in negotiating contracts with parts suppliers, OEMs and vendors when necessary.
- Develop effective quoting, invoicing and purchase order systems.
Experience:
- Proven experience in parts coordination role within the aviation or relevant industry or warehouse or logistics environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management, billing, MS Excel, CRM and other relevant operational software.
- Experience in supply chain management is advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage with third party organisations and customers effectively.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
