Location: Keighley, West Yorkshire Reports to: Managing Director About the Role We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Management Accountant to join our growing manufacturing business.
This is a varied role where you will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, providing accurate financial reporting, supporting business decisions and helping drive continuous improvement across the company.
Key Responsibilities Produce monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Prepare accruals, prepayments, journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
Manage weekly supplier payment runs and bank reconciliations.
Oversee weekly payroll checks and monthly payroll reconciliations.
Prepare VAT returns and ensure HMRC compliance.
Monitor cashflow, budgets and forecasts.
Calculate landed costs and support stock reporting.
Work closely with Sales, Production and Purchasing to support business performance.
Analyse financial data and provide insight to management.
Support year-end processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You You will have previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar finance role and be either AAT qualified, studying CIMA/ACCA, or qualified through experience.
You'll also have: Experience preparing management accounts.
Strong Excel and Sage (or similar accounting software) skills.
Payroll experience.
Excellent analytical and organisational skills.
Experience within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
