About the Role\n
We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Management Accountant to join our growing manufacturing business. This is a varied role where you will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, providing accurate financial reporting, supporting business decisions and helping drive continuous improvement across the company.
Key Responsibilities\n

- Produce monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Prepare accruals, prepayments, journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Manage weekly supplier payment runs and bank reconciliations.
- Oversee weekly payroll checks and monthly payroll reconciliations.
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure HMRC compliance.
- Monitor cashflow, budgets and forecasts.
- Calculate landed costs and support stock reporting.
- Work closely with Sales, Production and Purchasing to support business performance.
- Analyse financial data and provide insight to management.
- Support year-end processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You\n
You will have previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar finance role and be either AAT qualified, studying CIMA/ACCA, or qualified through experience.

You'll also have:

- Experience preparing management accounts.
- Strong Excel and Sage (or similar accounting software) skills.
- Payroll experience.
- Excellent analytical and organisational skills.
- Experience within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
