Hello! Here at JTS Couriers we are looking for a reliable and hardworking Furniture Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering furniture safely and efficiently to customers' homes, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with lifting and furniture assembly where required.
We welcome applicants with previous experience in furniture delivery and installation, as well as those who have the right attitude and are willing to learn. You should be comfortable working as part of a two-person team, physically fit, friendly, and confident solving problems both on the road and in customers' homes. A professional approach, the ability to follow schedules, and a commitment to delivering excellent service are essential. Experience installing sofas, furniture, and flat-pack items would be an advantage, and training will be provided where needed.
Key Responsibilities- Safely load, transport, and deliver furniture to customers
- Ensure deliveries are completed on time and with care
- Provide a professional and friendly experience for customers
- Handle delivery paperwork and confirm completed deliveries
- Carry out basic vehicle checks and maintain cleanliness of the delivery van
- Follow all health and safety procedures
- Full UK driving licence (clean licence preferred)
- Full Time, Permanent
- Previous driving experience in 3.5 Tonne beneficial but not essential
- Experience in driving 3.5 Tonne Luton vans essential
- Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
- Monday to Friday, with alternating Saturday
- Customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a small team
- Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with a 3.5 tonne vehicle
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and handle furniture safely
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices
